At Least Itโs Something
A short reflection on holding on longer than we need to
Sometimes, we hold onto thingsโnot because theyโre fulfilling, but because theyโre familiar.
We tell ourselves, โAt least itโs something.โ
A fallback.
A place to land if the next thing doesnโt work out.
But often, that โsomethingโ is quietly draining us.
Itโs not truly supporting usโweโre the ones supporting it, keeping it alive out of habit.
Letting go of a fallback can feel risky.
It asks us to trust the space that opens up.
To believe that space isnโt emptyโitโs a beginning.
And maybe the real question is:
Am I willing to release what no longer feels true, even if I donโt know what will take its place yet?
Thank you for reading ๐ซถ
๐ญ What are your thoughts?
How do you know when itโs really time to release something?
Have you ever let something go, only to find the space brought something better?

Susan , this was a very reflective post.
Recently, I let go off something that I was clinging to, for a very long.
Believe me , it was very hard in the beginning to think about it.
Later I convinced myself that one cannot keep for the sake of keeping and decided to let go off it with an open heart..
If it does not add value to our life , it is only right to say goodbye with a grateful heart.
I have quite often clinged to The safe and known in my Life. And yes quite often itโs not The best choice. I have not listen to my heart, my intuition. Now I do, 99%. It feels good, and right. Not many doubts or regrets anymore๐๐๐พ๐ We fear The unknown , but The unknown liberate .
